With this launch, South African organisations now have direct access to Suprema's full product range, backed by in-country technical expertise, local support and deep knowledge of the South African market.
Why now?
The demand for reliable, accurate biometric access control and workforce management solutions has never been higher in South Africa. Organisations across every sector are moving away from proximity card systems — which offer no real identity assurance and are easily lost, cloned or shared — towards biometric solutions that tie access and attendance to a physical identity that cannot be transferred or forged.
At the same time, the entry of cloud-based management platforms (including Suprema's own BioStar Air) has made enterprise-grade biometric systems accessible to organisations of all sizes, not just large corporates with dedicated IT teams.

From the launch date, Suprema South Africa offers the full Suprema product range across three categories:
- Access Control — including the XStation 2, BioStation 3 and BioEntry W3
- Time & Attendance — including the BioStation A2 and FaceStation 2
- Biometric Modules — including the BioMini Plus 2 and BioMini Slim 3 for enrolment and integration
All products are supplied with local warranty support, and our technical team provides installation, commissioning and training across South Africa.
What comes next
In the coming months, we will be expanding our solution offering with deeper integrations for the South African market — including SACE-compliant staff attendance for education, POPIA-aligned audit trail exports for government and healthcare, and deep integration with South Africa's leading payroll platforms.
