Overview

XPass 2 is Suprema's outdoor compact RFID reader, combining multi-format dual-frequency credential support with IP67/IK08-rated weatherproof and vandal-resistant housing. Available in mullion-mount (48 mm width), gangbox-type and gangbox keypad-type form factors, XPass 2 adapts to virtually any door frame, gate or access point installation. With NFC and BLE mobile card support alongside 125 kHz / 13.56 MHz RFID and AES-encrypted communications, XPass 2 covers all major credential types in a compact package designed for South African outdoor conditions.

Reads both 125 kHz (EM, HID Prox) and 13.56 MHz (MIFARE, DESFire EV1-3, FeliCa) in a single reader — no card-type restrictions.

NFC & BLE mobile access

Smartphone access via NFC (HCE Android) and BLE (iOS and Android) with AES-encrypted communications.

IP67 & IK08 rated

Fully dust and waterproof with vandal-resistant reinforced resin housing — tested for the toughest South African outdoor conditions.

Mullion & gangbox form factors

48 mm mullion-mount fits narrow door frames; gangbox-type and gangbox keypad-type variants cover all installation positions.
