QR + BARCODE
Can it scan? Then it can.
XPass Q2 reads just about anything: QR and barcodes on cards, phones, wristbands — and the occasional wild idea. 2D codes on phones or printed passes for tickets, visitor flows, contractor passes and other app-less, temporary credentials. Throughput up to 30 people per minute.
MULTI-CREDENTIAL
Every credential, one slim reader.
QR/barcode, NFC, BLE mobile, plus 125 kHz EM and 13.56 MHz MIFARE/DESFire/FeliCa RFID — combined into one mullion-form reader. Combine any two for true multi-factor where compliance demands it.
- QR / Barcode — DataMatrix, QR Code, Aztec, Micro QR, PDF417, Code39, Code128, UPC, EAN
- Mobile (NFC + BLE) — Phone-as-credential via BioStar Mobile
- RFID — 125 kHz EM and 13.56 MHz MIFARE / DESFire / FeliCa
- Door relay — Built-in relay — direct lock control, no extra controller for single-door installs
DESIGN
Sharp design that endures.
XPass Q2 combines an elegant, low-profile form with rugged construction. Its dark acrylic front and subtle lighting blend into modern architecture, while the IP65 enclosure is engineered for outdoor stadium entrances, gyms, coworking hubs, and any high-traffic site that demands both style and durability.
HARDWARE
Brains, brawn, and speed to match.
Behind the slim front sits a high-performance SoC with expanded memory, integrated door relay, configurable LED + buzzer feedback and hardware-level Secure Boot. Everything you need to drive a busy door without an external controller.
THROUGHPUT
Keep the line grooving.
Engineered for high-traffic entrances. Optimised read range, scan distance and matching speed keep the line moving — from gym lobbies to stadium gates.
5–15 cm
QR / barcode scan range — comfortable presentation distance for cards, phones and wristbands.
~30 people / minute
Sustained throughput at busy entrances — ticketed events, gym turnstiles, gated communities.
1 cm
